The Magic Man
His livid skin reflects the light,
Making him shine through the night.
His grin shows teeth of perfect white,
The perfect white of the Magic Man.
You see him and chills go down your spine,
But you think , I want his magic to be mine
And so you will ignore his unnatural shine
The shine of the Magic Man.
You go to his den, and see the vials of fluids swirled
Pleasure, pain, illusion, and border to another world
Cross the line of sanity and have all thats hidden unfurled
The unfurled world of the Magic Man.
He grins at you, and you ask him for his poison, his spice.
He regards you, and then gives you his offer, his price.
You pay it fully, knowing that you have to roll the dice.
The price of the Magic Man.
He takes, and then gives you another grin.
You take his offering, lying in a vial so thin,
And know that it will take you for a spin,
The spin of the Magic Man.
You fumble his magic in your fingers
Become one of the many that malingers
Wanting to have the feeling that lingers
The feeling of the Magic Man.
Under the stained sheet,
Point and skin meet,
Blood dances the beat,
The beat of the Magic Man.
And then youre looking for reflected light,
And see his livid skin shine so bright,
And you will come night after night,
And that is the true magic of the Magic Man.
